Former ‘Baywatch’ girl Pamela Anderson’s top slipped down while she walked the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week.

The Canadian-born, American actress suffered a wardrobe malfunction as she joined English designer Vivienne Westwood on the ramp to take the final bow at the end of her autumn/winter 2009 collection show in Paris.

Anderson did not seem to realise the gaffe, but quickly pulled her top back on when she discovered the accidental exposure, reported the Dailymail.co.uk.

Anderson, who is a friend and muse of Westwood, known for her outlandish design choices, had earlier walked the ramp wearing some of her creations, including a pink tulle tutu, and a coat made out of safety blankets.

She had also featured in the advertising campaign for the designer's Spring Summer 2009 collection.

The blonde actress and the orange-haired designer together created a stir at the Paris Fashion Week, one of the most important events in the International Fashion industry's calendar.

Don’t kill strays, Pamela Anderson appeals to BMC

Mumbai Hollywood actress and former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has written to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) asking not to kill stray dogs and instead carry out effective sterilisation process. However, Municipal Commissioner Jairaj Phatak has reacted by saying that “outsider citizens” can have their say but the civic body will act as per the law of the land.

Anderson, who also happens to be a PETA ambassador and an animal rights activist, had written a letter to the BMC on Wednesday expressing concern over the pending proposal for killing ‘nuisance strays’ in Mumbai.

Phatak confirmed that he has received the letter which talks about promoting sterilisation of stray dogs. “But outsiders can’t tell us what to do and what not to do as the conditions here are different than theirs and so is the law,” he said.

Last month, the Bombay High Court ordered killing of stray dogs that had become a nuisance. But, there is a six-week stay on the order now. Anderson’s letter, through the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), comes as a follow up to the court’s order on killing of strays. However Phatak said that the civic body can’t act on the appeals made by ‘outsiders’. “If an American citizen says not to go for capital punishment we cannot change the entire judiciary for them. On such issues, the court has to take a decision,” he said, adding that the BMC, however, will also act on decision given by the court with regards to control of the stray population.

As per the letter, Anderson has also expressed desire of visiting Mumbai and meeting Phatak, who said that whenever that happens, he would meet the actor. “We will listen to whatever she has to say but we will be act according to the court’s orders,” Phatak said.

The 41-year-old blonde beauty has become firm friends with Stella and even stripped off naked in her London shop window as part of a PETA protest in 2006.

Pamela is no stranger to speaking out about the welfare of animals.

Earlier this year, she wrote to fast food chain KFC over the treatment of chickens on their suppliers' farms.

Pammie - who has been working with PETA against KFC for around three years - fumed: "My friends at PETA Europe and I have a bone to pick with KFC over the treatment of birds.

She said: "I'm getting rid of my UGGs. I feel so guilty for that craze being started around my 'Baywatch' days - I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm - never realising that they were SKIN!

"I thought they were shaved kindly. People like to tell me all the time that I started that trend - yikes!"

The former 'Baywatch' star has written an open letter to US President-elect Barack Obama, outlining ways to make the country better.

Pamela believes cultivating the illegal substance would "save children" and help the environment.

She wrote on her official blog: "I think we should legalize marijuana, tax and monitor - farm hemp etc. This would make our borders less corrupt and then I think eventually this will be a more secure option and save children in the long run - we should be able to farm hemp in America - it's just silly. It would create jobs and be good for the environment."

Pamela also controversially suggests anyone found guilty of molesting children or possessing child pornography, should be castrated for their crimes.

She continues: "Government must castrate every molester - potential molester - err on the safe side. If any child pornography is found in anyone's possession, or anyone creating such atrocities, or if any child is brave enough to come forward (at any young age to bring attention to a potential molester - listen) they need to be taken very seriously and see that justice is served.

"The abuse is way worse than any trial could be - our children need more protection and justice seen. It needs to be PREVENTED not just punished."

"Girl on the Loose" knows where it's going at all times as it carefully crafts an image of Anderson as an appreciative and approachable sex symbol, a doting mother, a tireless crusader for animals and a celebrity who's just as down to earth as you and me, by gum.

That she is able to accomplish all this even as she builds a Malibu mansion is testimony to her astute understanding of her public persona and how to burnish it to maximum effect. The series has a generous amount of seminude and scantily clad shots and story lines that rarely last a few minutes. Meanwhile, Anderson uses a telestrator to caption each and every scene with pink lipstick. Is she really a "crazy bitch?" Sure, and Bill Gates is a tinkerer with no business sense.

Pamela Anderson's marriage to third husband Rick Salomon has been officially annulled. In paperwork filed in Los Angeles Superior Court today, both parties were declared single persons on the grounds of fraud.

After hooking up last year, the longtime friends got hitched October 6, 2007 in a small ceremony in between Pam's two nightly appearances in Hans Klok's magic show in Las Vegas. By December there was already trouble in the young union — Pam filed for divorce, then withdrew her claim. But in February she filed for an annulment — citing fraud. Last week, Rick filed his own annulment request also citing fraud.

Neither has explained why the fraud allegation is being made. This is the latest in series of short, turbulent marriages for Pam, who was previously married to Tommy Lee, with whom she has two sons, and Kid Rock. Rick is best known for appearing in a porn with Paris Hilton called One Night in Paris. He was also briefly married to Shannen Doherty and actress Elizabeth Daily, with whom he as two daughters.

Former Baywatch bombshell Pamela Anderson spent Valentine’s Day in France this year, where she gave audiences in Paris a whole lot to love.

Anderson performed twice last week in various states of undress before sellout crowds of 500 enthusiastic viewers, each paying the equivalent $300 for the privilege– at the legendary Paris burlesque club Le Crazy Horse. Anderson delivered the highlight of her appearance in a sheer black body on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The sensual dance number was a homage to the 1950’s hit “Harley Davidson” made famous by 50’s bombshell of France Brigitte Bardot. The 73-year old French actress, also famous in France for her animal activism—another interest she shares with Pamela Anderson, sent Anderson flowers from St. Tropez and wished her luck in her Paris debut.
Anderson has followed in the steps of French actress Bardot in using her stardom to campaign for the protection of animals. Anderson, a native of Canada, was in France to meet with Bardot during Anderson’s campaign for the protection of baby seals.

40-year old American actress and pin-up Anderson explained that she was to deliver a letter written by Bardot to the Canadian ambassador to France, in an attempt to curb seal hunting around the Pacific. “It sickens me not just as a Canadian but as a human being,” Anderson said. Anderson and other animal rights activists claim that hunting for baby seals, outlawed for 20 years, has been reinstated recently because new markets for fur have opened up in Russia and China. She found time while in France to protest before the Canadian Embassy in Paris against seal hunting with fellow activists from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Anderson has been urging designers and consumers to boycott pelts and seal products.

Anderson’s show at the Crazy Horse saloon in Paris was about other urges entirely. Although Le Crazy Horse is known for its topless and nude numbers featuring strategically placed feathers, Anderson asserted that her Paris performance was “a celebration of women. It’s done very respectfully, very classy, and it’s a wonderful show for women as well as for men.”

While Americans may find this statement hard to swallow, it is true that France and especially Paris has had a rather different cultural relationship with female nudity throughout its history. The French make a distinction between the more raunchy burlesque houses of Pigalle and the famous, expensive upscale clubs featuring shows with nude women such as the Crazy Horse, the Lido and others, most of which are of longstanding in Paris and are indeed frequented by both sexes. Some other American actresses have even been made famous for disrobing in the capital of France, notably Josephine Baker.

Recently, under new management, the Crazy Horse of Paris, which opened in 1951, has started a policy to recapture the glory days by featuring famous or prestigious artists stripping for a limited number of shows, such as Dita Von Teese, Arielle Dombasle and Pamela Anderson. The club occupies a venerable old building on the Avenue George V one of the toniest streets of Paris’ chic 8th arrondissement, just steps away from Hermes, five-star hotels, expensive restaurants and various foreign embassies.

One observer described Anderson’s number: “She was great. She was totally into it – it was impressive. And the crowd responded very warmly.” Reports say that though tickets for Anderson’s Paris show were around $300 apiece, the actress was not paid for her appearance. “This isn’t for money,” said Anderson. “It’s just for the love of the art, and the Crazy Horse does it best.” No word as to whether the Crazy Horse plans on donating any of its Valentine’s haul to PETA.

Pamela Anderson can stop traffic—literally.

just got word that Ms. Anderson put on a fluorescent-orange crossing-guard vest this morning to help
direct traffic for her kids' Malibu-area school. It was the first day back since last week's fires.
This was also Anderson’s return to the neighborhood. I’m told that as flames came dangerously close to
Anderson’s home in the Point Dume area, she took the boys—Brandon, 11, and Dylan, 9—and hightailed it to
Las Vegas, where she appears in Hans Klok’s magic show at Planet Hollywood.
The little guys spent time with their new stepdad, Rick Salomon, golfing at Stallion Mountain, Angel Park and Dragon Ridge.
